Mariet Feltkamp MD PhD is an consultant medical virologist, associate professor of Medical Virology and PI studying clinical, epidemiological and molecular aspects of human papillomavirus and polyomavirus infection. In 2010 she discovered of the human trichodysplasia spinulosa-associated polyomavirus. Her research was funded by EU, Dutch Cancer Society (KWF), Dutch Organization of Health Research and Development (ZonMW), Dutch Kidney Foundation (NSN) and Sanquin Blood Supply. She is executive board member of the European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV) and member of the ICTV Polyomavirus Study Group.
