Dear Colleagues and friends,
The 8th International Conference on HPV & Polyomavirus in Skin Cancer will be held from November 16-18, 2016 at the MECC Conference Center in Maastricht, The Netherlands.

In the tradition of the very successful previous conferences we are aiming at bringing together International experts of basic, translational and clinical research and epidemiology in order to promote our understanding of the role of oncogenic viruses in skin cancer.We hope to stimulate through active discussions and scientific exchange future skin cancer research to serve the needs of patients suffering of skin cancer.

The role of oncogenic viruses in skin cancer has been evolving in the recent years and will hopefully lead to novel therapeutic treatments. The particular focus of this conference will be in the oncogenic HPV´s and Polyomaviruses. The increasing number of recently detected novel human polyomaviruses and their possible association with skin cancer offer a new perspective in skin cancer research.

Lectures given by international experts and presentations of selected abstracts will be complemented by guided posterwalks. Plenty of opportunities for fruitful and interactive discussons are expected to especially stimulate young reserachers and clinicians as well as students to actively participate and contribute to this conference.
